That God's oneness is not the oneness of numerical scarcity found among created things, but a unity to which all multiplicities return.

His wording is not his own here — he quotes Abū Muḥammad al-Amīr, by way of Muḥammad ʿIllīsh's fatāwā, and adopts it.
