Shaykh Ibrāhīm Niasse (d. 1975) read the whole Qurʾān aloud at Medina Baye over fifty-six sessions between ẓuhr and ʿaṣr in Ramaḍān 1383/1964, and his students wrote those sessions down as Fī Riyāḍ al-Tafsīr. The āya above is Warsh ʿan Nāfiʿ, the rasm of the printed edition. The root behind each underlined word comes from a Ḥafṣ ʿan ʿĀṣim corpus, realigned to this Warsh text word by word; 125 of the 6,236 āyāt differ in word count between the two riwāyāt, and those were aligned rather than assumed. السابعة نسبة كل سماء لما تحتها كنسبة الجن من الإنس والبيت المعمور كذلك والكرسي بما فيه من الملاتكة كذلك وسرادقات العرش ستمائة ألف سرادق كل سرادق كذلك. إنا الإنس والجن الذين هم الجبابرة أحيط بهم حيث لا مفر لهم لم يجدوا منفذا، يخاطبهم الحق إن قدرتم أن تخرجوا فاخرجوا. ما قدروا حولهم الجن وحولهم الملائكة لم يجدوا طريقا قَبَأَنِ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَاتِ والقرآن تفسيره يتجدد دائما مع الوقائع بالعلم الحادث، صاروا يصنعون سفنا تخرج إلى الفضاء الخارجي حول الأرض فيدورون (يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظࣱ مِّن نّ۪ارࣲ وَنُحَاسࣱ) فتحترق السفن حتى ترجع وهو لهيب واحد فَلا تَنتَصِرَابِ) لا تقدران على أن تمتنعا من ذلك. سئل الراكب الروسي الذي دار حول الفضاء ما كان في خاطره؟ قال: قدّرْ إنسانا يعيش وسط لهيب من النار يكون في أشد الخوف «يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَظّ صِ بَارٍ» هو لهبها الخالص «وَنُحَاسٌ» دخان لا لهب فيه (قَبِأَيِّ ءَالَاءِ رَبِّكْمَا تُكَنِّبَالُ بَإِذَا إنشَفَتِ السَّمَاءُ انفرجت أبوابا …
