۞وَمَا فِے وَمَا مِنْهُ مِن وَلَا مِنْ اِلَّا عَلَيْكُمْ اِذْ فِيهِۖ وَمَا عَن مِن فِے وَلَا فِے وَلَآ مِن ذَٰلِكَ وَلَآ إِلَّا فِے
And thou (Muhammad) art not occupied with any business and thou recitest not a Lecture from this (Scripture), and ye (mankind) perform no act, but We are Witness of you when ye are engaged therein. And not an atom's weight in the earth or in the sky escapeth your Lord, nor what is less than that or greater than that, but it is (written) in a clear Book — Pickthall
Shaykh Ibrāhīm Niasse (d. 1975) read the whole Qurʾān aloud at Medina Baye over fifty-six sessions between ẓuhr and ʿaṣr in Ramaḍān 1383/1964, and his students wrote those sessions down as Fī Riyāḍ al-Tafsīr. The āya above is Warsh ʿan Nāfiʿ, the rasm of the printed edition. The root behind each underlined word comes from a Ḥafṣ ʿan ʿĀṣim corpus, realigned to this Warsh text word by word; 125 of the 6,236 āyāt differ in word count between the two riwāyāt, and those were aligned rather than assumed. A word carries no underline where the corpus supplies no root. Lexicon entries are a reading aid and carry no page reference; the edition does not cite them. Page references elsewhere on this site follow the ten-volume Tunis 2022 printing this site was transcribed from; published scholarship on this text cites the six-volume Tunis 2010 printing, whose pagination is different.

(وَمَا يَعْزُبُ) يغيب وعَى رَبِّكَ مِ مِثْقَالِ ذَرَّةٍ ) وزن ذرة أصغر نملة مِ الاَرْضِ وَلا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَلَا أَصْغَرَ مِن ذَٰلِكَ وَلَا أَكْبَرَ إِلَّمِي كِتَبٍ مُبِير)) العبد إذا لم يجد مقام المراقبة العليا الذي هو (أن تعبد الله كأنك تراه) [1] تلك هي المراقبة، شدة حضور القلب مع اللّٰه تبارك وتعالى كأن العبد يراه. إن لم يجد هذا يجد مراقبة صغرى هي علمه باطلاع اللّٰه تبارك وتعالى على كلية العبد دائما لا يخفى منه شيء هذا مقام في المراقبة أيضا وهذه الآية لأهل المراقبة «وَمَا تَكُولُ فِي شَأْلٍ وَمَا تَثْلُواْ مِنْهُ مِ فُرْءَالٍ وَلاَ تَعْمَلُونَ مِنْ عَمَلٍ إِلاَّ كُنَّا عَلَيْكُمْ شَهُوداً إِذْ تُفِيضُولَ جِيهٌ وَمَا يَعْزُبُ عَى رَبِّكَ مِ مِثْقَالِ ذَرَّةٍ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلاَ مِى السَّمَاءِ وَلَاَ أَصْغَرَ مِن ذَلِكَ وَلَا أَكْبَرَ إِلَّفِي كِتَابٍ مُبِيرٍ» من استحضر هذا امتثل أمر اللّه واجتنب نواهيه، فإن الإنسان[1] [1]
